Education
Our education department works in tandem with the Ministry of Education to ensure the following principles are upheld.
- The prevention of child labour as one of our core policies.
- Children to be in education full time.
- Construction of on-site nurseries where possible.
- Females receive adult life training in health and hygiene, literacy, numeracy, and vocational subjects.
HEALTH
Our internal health department works to improve access to healthcare by providing the following services to underprivileged communities:
- Pre, ante and post natal care
- Health education
- Vaccination
- Providing family planning advice
- Providing nutrition
- Providing clinical assistance for malnourished children
- Providing first aid assistance to employees on site and at their homes
- Ambulance on-site
- Hospital treatment
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
Empowering women has been at the forefront of our operations from the very inception. The objectives of women’s capacity-building andcommunity-development programmes are as follows:
- Female employment priority.
- Capacity building for women, enhance women's work and administrative ability
- Cultivate and increase rural women's sense of participation, improve the living standards of rural women and teach them vital survival skills
- Raise gender awareness and promote coordinated community-development
